Civil Rights. Let's talk about this.
Civil Rights. Now, let's see what Civil Rights is about.

Back then, we knew that this was important.
Sure, major deal way back when -- around the Civil War period.
The only important minority way back when -- African-Americans.

Blacks.

Negros.

Sure, major deal way back when -- Rosa Parks,
The Adamant Defender of Chairs; Martin Luther King, Jr.,
The Adamant Spokesmen of the Illiterate -- Now let's talk about why --

Why were they illiterate? They were illiterate because the
Predominant race,
Whites [at the time],
Thought

Blacks,

Negros,

To dull to learn -- their only use, farmhands.

But let's think on that. Have they learned?

Yes.

Today, have they learned? Yes.

Now, way back when -- would they learn?

Yes.

Even in the little access to knowledge they had,

Historic
Blacks,
Negros,
Were able to find some way to learn, read, write,
Eventually have a name in the book.

Civil Rights. Yes, yes -- they did fight for that,
Way back when.

Certainly.

How about now?
Where are the Adamant Defenders, Adamant Spokesmen, Spokeswomen?

Dead. They are dead [to put it bluntly].

Civil Rights are no longer a major issue --
Sure, you might have little packs and groups,
Wanting to just throw around some Civil Rights speech;
Maybe some semi-large organization, too.

But, really now. Civil Rights is not a major issue.

This government has kept its domestic policies quite quiet.
We already have several amendments in place to ensure "domestic tranquility."

What amends are those, 13th, 14th, 15th, 19th, 21st?

Yes, yes. Rights for alcohol as well.

Civil Rights is not an issue.

What is the issue? The issue, is
Foreign policy,
Deficit,
Taxes,
Middle-Class incomes,
Gay Rights,
Lesbian Rights,
Marriage Laws,
Healthcare,
Minimum Wage,
Everything the government decides is important.
Or an argument, at the very least.

But not Civil Rights. Not anymore.

We don't see
Blacks, Negros
Stand up for others for civil rights.

No one stands up for these anymore.

It's not important anymore.

(How come?)

Civilians already have their rights
To pronounce themselves "equal" --
We have other minorities other than blacks, negros,

We have enough. A Union, it is enough.
