365 Days of Change

Wed, 01/18/2017 - 21:21 -- Mmoser

Day after day

The sun rises and sets

Just like every day

But a man does not

A man changes every day

Not all at once

Day by day by day

Confidence grows

socializing occurs

a change assimilated into his life

slowly and carefully

like a young child

sneaking through the house past bedtime

It nearly goes unnoticed by the man

Until near the end of the year

An epiphany occurs

He did not remember what it was like to be lonely

to be introverted

to be excluded

He had changed into someone out going

someone courageous

someone sociable

He was pleased with his new unreserved self

Conclusively that made for a grand year

Three hundred sixty-five days

Eight thousand seven hundred sixty hours

Thirty-one million five hundred thirty-six thousand seconds

A minuscule fraction of a lifetime

One major change development

Seamlessly infused

deciding the future

it was created

in 365 days of change.
