After Falling Apart, Stitch Yourself Together

Tripping over the end of the quarter

Almost make it across the border

Fine line between sanity

And crazy common rarity

Where you lose your mind

Over somthin’ less than a crime

Wanted to press rewind

To search for something I can’t find

Closing the space that keeps me

From Realizing what I can’t see

When I simply cringe

When I’m on the hinge

Of breaking through

The time that you

Took for granted

My life is looking slanted

Shush, no one wants to know the struggle

They be dealing with their own Muzzle

That they were sentenced with

Since the time, of their first breathe

One two three

Breath breath breath

Four five six

Stich stitch stitch

Put it back together

Stop wondering whether

You gonna make it

Cause if it not you better fake it

Stop pitying yourself

You don’t know what's on the next shelf

Until you decide to look

With your own eyes in search of that book

That you know could help

So stop worrying about your wealth

Worrying about your smarts

Or the fact that your heart

Remains absent of another

Significant other

Not everybody

Is gonna have somebody

So when you see someone in distress

Try and make the problem less

Ask about their day

Ask if they’re okay

Time is only a limit

If you let it

Be in charge of your success

You decide to be more or less

Than what you wish, want to be

One two three

Breath Breath breath

Four five six

Stich stitch stitch

Put it back together

Stop wondering whether

You gonna make it

Cause if it not you better fake it

Look into the eyes

The ones that cries

Coming from the loss of life

Now compare it to your own strife

It doesn’t matter if it worse

Doesn’t matter if its better of course

Both of you going through a bump

Put those struggles in a clump

That's all that matters

Not the one that's on the highest ladder

Suffering is suffering

When things seem to be tumbling

Into a colossal amount of damage

And its caving in like a stomach thats famished

Remember to find a person

Look for a person who will listen

Or help you think

A distraction for the stink

Of disappointment

That sets its own appointments

Right when we don’t need it

Close your eyes and you won’t see it

One two three

Breath Breath breath

Four five six

Stich stitch stitch

Put it back together

Stop wondering whether

You gonna make it

Cause if it not you better fake it
