Alone

I’m lonely when you’re gone,

and even when you’re here

In both affairs silence drags on;

here come the stream of tears

You no longer see them

They all say that love can blind

But it is you I condemn

for the heartbreak that tortures my mind

You’ve cut off my wings

and I can no longer fly

Someday I’ll pack up my things

and say my ‘goodbye’

I’ll be alone,

yes, that’s true

but I felt more alone

when I was with you.
