America, America: The Great Land of the Free

America, America

the great land of the free,

but what is wrong with this picture,

we don't have complete liberty.

The government has changed things

that the Founding Fathers thought

would benefit our nation

but now government thinks not!

We need to get back to tradition

and bring back principles

that our government decided

were way too traditional.

Whatever happened to freedom of speech

or freedom to carry a gun?

Now our government decided

regulations would be fun!

We just want back our freedoms,

is that not too much to ask?

You can't remove Constitutional rights,

but you've just made that your task!

Let me know when I can speak

without "offending" anyone,

and when I have the right to be

a Christian without discrimination.

America, America,

where did we go wrong?

When did this precious nation become

so sensitive and headstrong.

America, America,

the great land of the free,

yet I think now, or in a few short years,

it will be more like pergatory.
