America Can Wait

My country tis of the

Sweet land of an impending war.

Now here's the thing,

We call ourselves the land of the free,

But that freedom is only given to those

Who make it across our ocean or over our wall.

But that's not all,

We are no longer fighting to defend,

We are attacking the inoccent,

A backlash for the towers that fell 16 years ago.

While we attempt to compare our numbers to their's

We are forgetting all of their terrors.

These people are just trying to survive

But because of their race and home

They are being murdered.

They have come to us for safety

From our own forces.

So, if some of you want them to leave

Take a second and think about this,

They"ll leave our country

When we leave their homes.
