America: My Beautiful Home

America is beautiful,

Though some may disagree.

For it I'll remain dutiful,

As it's what keeps me free.

My nation's freedom seems to be

What truly makes it great,

Despite the inequality

And some existing hate.

Here I have opportunity.

My country is the best,

But it has no immunity

From flaws that plague the rest.

America is the best place

Where one could hope to live.

Despite its flaws, it's no disgrace

For freedom doth much give.
