Civil rights,

Gave me a reason to fight
In these streets that can easily ignite
Evil in me
and the person next to me.
But hearing about preaching and teaching the word of life
Keeps things in line,
Tight
enough to write poetry
For the sake of nouns and verbs
To notice me.
Matter of fact, those nouns can be
People of importance
With their names being capitalized because they paved the way for us to be royalty.
Seeing what king Luther and Mr. X did
Effortlessly and radically with morality was outstanding.
Brutality was almost a
reality but with help from these
People,
Fatalities were fallacies.
They actually believed we will
Be good
And you know what,
They were right, to some extent.
I see
as well as others that the darker complexion
of the world still has growing to do to prevent
Hatred amongst ourselves
Instead of putting ourselves in made up concentration camps and tents.
We should be more like Clark kent,
And collectively we will have
Enough strength
To catapult through the BS and
The nonsense that covers it.
Lets be strong,
More confident,
And think of density as our friend,
With a bond that prints
I will always progress
Not only for me
But for ones who digest
Things that love depression.
Let this be a lesson learned,
The fight for our life will forever be a test.
All we have to do, is pass it.
