America the great

Has fallen into a terrible state;

Fifty to be exact

Filled with people telling foreigners to go back

We are so gullible

hand picking conveniences from the bible

If you disobey,

There will be hell to pay

We have lost all compassion

For our animal brethren

We despise everyone different from ourselves;

Thus, we lock them up for life in cells

We oppose love in different forms,

So quick to exclude others from the norm

Friends and family gone

Because they think our love is wrong

Emotion is present in all sentient beings

It's what binds our world at the seams

Without it, we are lost

America once fought for all

We must find the map of love

Whether it comes from near, far, or above

Compassion must be restored

In America, to move toward

Greatness
