Back to Stress

Today marks the day my anxiety comes out of the dark

All summer long it was hiding in the sand of the California beaches

The rays of sunshine

The white wash of waves

and now it's Fall

The couds are coming out and so is my stress

deadlines, deadlines, and more deadlines

Senior year.

Now the focus is on how you're going to get money for college...

not how your Summer was.

Now the focus is on what schools you are going to be applying to...

not the fun places you traveled.

And now you must focus on your future.

but if you are one of the unfortunate plenty that have no idea what your future looks like,

well you should still go to college.

At least that's what they tell us.

But college is no longer the pursuit of the "American Dream" but instead the pursuit of the job to pay off your dreadful debt.

It is the race for who can get the most scholarships and free money

But without it we won't be successful...

right?
