Be alert

Job 42:1-2 New English Translation (NET Bible)

 Then Job answered the Lord:

“I know that you can do all things;
no purpose of yours can be thwarted;

Be alert

Don’t be passive my battle-cry ... stand passive in the Lord

Shine as a light in darkness ... for you’re observed by all man

Evil is the opposite ... he wants you to be passive

He wants your mind and will ... your abilities sealed in a can

Satan wants to take over your body and your soul

To direct it in his way ... on the path of degradation

Don’t underestimate his power for he knew flesh long before

You were born into this age ... and he knows your foundation

Deception unlatches the gate for evil spirits to move in

Passivity without question then provides a “comfy” place to stay

When they feel at home ... they decorate to their liking

The place that you offered them where they now live and play

Truth and will expose deception and only Truth can set you free

The will to want and hunger is needed ... to be a different man

So get focused on the One, Who is always ready to deliver

You out of your dilemma as He is the only One Who can

Super natural power can have different sources

It is crucial in this matter to distinguish origin

What is from God and what is not ... is a critical factor

The smallest to the greatest should understand the scene

If one has not died too emotional life … such is driven by feeling

He searches mostly for sensational events and will easily be duped

And so become susceptible to trickery in super natural matters

Easily winding up in despair and stress when life’s issues pass through

The super natural from God will engage our mind through spirit

Through the Holy Spirit ... He will engage towards sanctification

So then one is free to exercise ... the conscience and its purpose

and distinguish good and evil ... without hindrance or inhibition
