Because he loves her

He use to rush to the door before she could lift her arms to open the door

He once taught her how to dance with a boy

He paid for their meals and tucked her into bed every chance he had

He always called her princess and pushed her to be suceessful in life

He taught her how to be brave and never give up hope

He brought her flowers every week and thanked God every night for her

He didn't do it because she called him "father", he did it because he loved her

So when some stupid boy had to audacity to tell her "I love you" after he

forced himself on her

or his knuckles touched her cheek

or he called her a whore

He rushed to save his baby girl

He picked up the broken pieces of her heart

And he taught her the meaning of uncondtional, because he loves her
