Today's a beautiful day
when lights shine so bright.
A day this world remembers
for a girl who's full of delight.

A loving soul was born
who's presence we always cherish.
Without her miraculous smile
This planet would certainly perish.

Her dazzling eyes will warm you
and make you feel at peace.
All the problems around you
will once begin to cease.

She has a calming spirit
her heart is warm and pure.
When people are faced with trouble
Her soothing will be the cure.

This girl that I now speak of
she's no ordinary kind.
If you were not to see these things
I'd have to believe you're blind.

For this girl is my best friend
who's truly my other half.
We've grown through times of love
And making each other laugh.

Although my poem is closing
there is still much more to say.
I just wanted to tell this special girl...
