Blood

Blood is not always

thicker than water.

My sister just so happens to be

some other Mother’s daughter.

When asked about my mentors

I instantly thought her.

If ever I needed anything

I always sought her.

She held me, taught me,

listened to me when I cried.

She pushed me,  Advised me,

was there when my Grandpa died.

Out of all of the gifts He’s given

I am glad that He brought her.

She’s so happy and bright

definitely a 100 watter.

No matter the Mother

No matter the Father

Blood is not always

Thicker than water

This poem is about:
Me
My family
