bodysurfing
over down south, over by the beach,
there are big waves, jellyfish, and a lot
of dead seaweed. there i went bodysurfing,
back when i was a kid.
the waves crash down on you, they sweep you away.
the older surfers smile, they call me a dude.
i got a sunburn, my skin peeled off.
it hurt for weeks, it was still worth it,
the best memory of my life.
