Boundless Together

Location

As if time could ever calm the seas that rage without a breeze!

I am the waves that have no bounds. My heart will still be free!

I see the lands stretch out before my eyes and at my feet.

I fear the vast and wild world, but do not fear defeat.

Proud men who stand on pedestals will fade like cotton sheets,

And just as sure is downfall theirs as icicles from eaves.

Never tied to promises no man could ever keep,

My mind is not infallible, so oft I let it sleep.

No man could face the world himself, nor bear its weight alone.

I don't give up my freedom just because I visit home.

The sun will smile in summer, and I wonder to myself

If solitude for all these years has made me someone else.

So join thy friends with grasping, hands held in fervent prayer.

As one we only suffocate. As two we breach the air.
