Breathe

Wrapped up in a chain, Making choices that wasn't mines to make, Feel like a caged bird going insane. They say it's better for me,They're looking out for me,Making appointments and decisions,Expecting me to just flow. Craving independence,Wanting small freedom,Being able to decide and settle,Without judged of my choices. They see me as their little girl,Helpless to the world,If only they knew the battles of done alone,The tears I've shed,The blood that's been slain,The pain of life hitting me all in a split. I'm grown now,Can handle my own now, Feeling suffocated by things they do for me,A sense of captivity is how it feels to be me.
