#BringBackOurGirls

When I look at my reflection I see me

My whole  - dark eyes like  a shimmering sea

I see a girl when I look at me

When I look at the news

I sees these girls walking around like they're hanging from a noose

It makes me angered to see these girls made slaves

Because they’re not men

Beaten, raped, and given no choice in life

All these cries are made out of desperate strife

The world was angered

Because these girls mattered

So we made a hashtag

So we can cause the attack

On these people who have no respect for human life

Or a woman’s body.

Bring Back Our Girls the world chanted

Hollywood stars, First Lady of the free world

And everyone else in between

Then more girls disappeared

And more mothers feared

That their daughter would not come home

They went to school because they have that right

So they fight … and we keep fighting with them

To destroy the enemy

Whom are many

But they have nothing on us

They have nothing on the girl that I see when I look at me.
