Broken Homes

Broken homes, broken dreams.

Cracked cement, cracked skin.

Dirty floors, dirty hands.

Children in despair, parents working to prepare

for new beginnings and new homes.

Saving every penny for a chance to escape reality.

For just one opportunity to live like the others.

Not having to worry about what's too come,

as no matter what there will always be funds.

Although once it's over, a time will come.

Where money will be gone, and their lives will be.

Different.
