Bullying

They all used to point and laugh in my face,

Always telling me I'm such a disgrace.

Pushing me and hitting me, and calling me names,

Never letting me join in the fun and games.

I was all alone,

Something that wasn't condoned.

Then there was a little boy,

Who showed me I was not a toy.

I couldn't be used then thrown away,

I was allowed to sit and play.

He showed me someone cared,

He showed me someone would always be there.

I was so used to hiding and crying,

But now it's me who's smiling.

Bullying isn't cool,

If you're a bully, you're a fool.

No one deserves to be treated like that,

Not even a dog or a cat.

Animal abuse is the same,

People think cruelty is a game.

There is nothing good about abuse,

Nothing good about someone being used.

You may beat me all you can,

But here's the thing, I've won this poetry slam.
