Challengers

Part 1- To Destiny

Sometimes

the world twists and turns,

and engulfs you in a whirlwind.

It tears you,

with its unpredictable darkness.

it drains you,

with its rumbling,humbling hassles-

For life is a steaple chase.

But,

Do not succumb to its might,

Never, concede to mediocracy.

nor, accept its indifference.

Shine through, bite back,

take control and read the waves,

ride upon the sea of destiny.

latch on,

to the transparent strings.

that dictate the flow of things.

Part 2-Invitation

Fight me,will you, lift your sword!

And clin against mine,

In mesmerizing footsteps,

Backwards and forward,

Leeward and windward.

Dance to the rhythm of life,

Swing your arms,

lift your thighs.

Stare me right in my eyes,

And challenge me, if you may.

Wings of crane,

Arms of Mantis.

Drift your feet across the reflecting ground,

Float with dazzling confidence-

Among invisible waves.

And let your body,

Follow lead.

Jump high!, and flicker your hands.

Bewitch me, as you land.

Leave me gushing winds

And flared curvatures.

Challenge me, will you?

Fan out regaly,

Neck straight, head tilting.

High chested, flanks raised.

Node, will you?

And smirk back daringly.
