Change is the Change

Change is the change that rumbles within

Is it within me or the round ball which I live in?

It's me and the earth, we breathe as one

When it loses, I lose. When it doesn't, I've won.

Life is progression, can't stay in one spot.

Adapt and change shapes is what I've been taught

To keep up with the chaos that spins 'round my head

Can't go anywhere if my legs are feeling like lead.

What would I change if the earth and I are one?

Would I plant fifty trees, would I mow every lawn?

Would I walk every dog, and hug every cat?

Would I take out the dust bunnies under their mat?

Or would I continue to live life as free?

'Cause the thing I would change is the thing inside me.
