They say high school is the best time of your life 

But it made me hate myself 

I compared myself relentlesly 

To my friends who always seemed superior 

I thought they had it all together 

But I was anything but 

I was a jigsaw puzzle 

Desperately needing someone to finish 

Putting my pieces together 

In college I had a change

A change deep within me 

I became who I'd always wanted to be 

I found my niche in life 

And I joined the self love club

It may be cliche 

But I believe I changed 

I was enough before 

And now I believe it
