Cherries

Tue, 04/18/2017 - 17:41 -- DeBrock

Sweet Summer nights,

Spent with you by the lake at your side,

Your enigmatic smile,

Whose white teeth reflect against the dark night sky.

I have a cherry colored vendetta,

It is the same color as your lips,

The ships they pass this house,

We hath built up by the sea.

I could be,

Everything you need,

I could make you come to life,

If only you'd be my wife.

I’d love to,

I’d love to love you,

To show you that I can,

And you will never forget.
