Come Home Tonight

Come home tonight...

I know your scars are heavy,
I wanna stay with you, lay with you,
until the stars are ready...
to see you home tonight...
Can't imagine this with no one else,
You been losing balance with yourself,
but trust my heart is steady...

Come home tonight...

I'll rock you back and forth
to offset the balance of turbulent tides...
Set in motion by the fire nation
attacking southern water tribes...
Through earth, wind, and fire...
Come home on time...

Come home tonight...

Don't let those bullets catch up to you
or run you to an early grave...
Enslaved and tame, they got you
running for freedom like the early days...
Some would say, you won't see freedom
until you see them through the pearly gates,
Before he's laid...
God bring him home, he's mine...

Come home tonight...

Before you add weight to my scars...
No, my heart won't be broken,
it'll be taken apart...
by the media, scheming us,
telling us how they killed my love...
with no hate in their hearts...
and how he ain't coming home tonight...

Becuase he's already there...
And I'll  follow him home in time...
