The Common Fault and Love

The black bird crowed to the dove,

You know we aren't so different, you and

We both can fly high above the sky,

Or drown low in the deep blue ocean.

Classic man viewed you as pure and white,

Thus worthy of his reign

Yet my human brethren that were ripped from the African plains

Have also grown a deep passion for the him who reigns.

When I was just chick I fell from my nest.

I still do the same in a way today.

As I bet you do as well.

We both fall short.

However we both share in each other our disability,

To have the right to judge each other.

Because we share in each other three in one

Someone who creates and judges us.

Yet at the same time we still share in each other as well

the same who judges and creates us,

                                                     Someone who unconditionally loves us.
