Cordial Grudge

Hello old friend come in, come in; the hearth has gone cold

In your absence I've forgotten how to be bold

Still you trap me in a warm embrace

Erasing all doubt without a trace

They left me in a dark abyss

Awaken my anger with a single kiss

Oh sweet grudge you have returned

Intent on reminding everyone how we were burned

We won't rest till their on their knees

Sobbing and begging “Please”

We only loiter on our borrowed throne

While our whip cuts deep to the bone

Words and deceit

Embrace each other as they meet

Together we boil a sheme

Till their nightmare becomes our dream

Finally there they lay broken and bleeding anguish

Trapped in a familiar spiral of languish

We should feel happy, we should feel great

Instead we feel guilty we caused your fate

Yes we got our revenge, but at what cost?

Look at all the time we have lost

A once meger distraction

Creates a huge chain reaction

At least you stay true and fond

Our emotions thrashing in the same pond

Soon you will leave cordial grudge

Till the next time you reappear a stain that has turned into a permanent smudge
