The Difference Between You and Me

The difference between you and me

Is that you have red blood, while I have green

Your skin is made of gold

While mine, so ugly and old

Your lips rival and red rose

While mine are two black feathers from a crow's

Your figure is like an hour glass

While mine, am I an escapee from Alcatraz?

So beautiful and pretty, who is she?

So ugly and wanted, what a pity

But in the end, when our bones are only left

You won't always be a goddess and me a dismay

For I have my paper and pen

They will last for centuries, the next ten

No one will care about your new car

Or your neck adorned with gems

But maybe they will about how

The curse of cancer I did end

Or maybe about the flying car

I did invent

The difference is obvious, can't you see?

You are you, but I am me.
