Discovery

A year of self-discovery

A year filled with smiles and cries

One unlike any other

Both the best and worst I ever had

A tumultuous year, often times too much on my plate

Everything piling up, too stressful

Heartbreak, it can be that intense?

Who am I, who am I?

Is anyone even out there?

I am hopeless I am worthless

There is nothing but pain

Finally at rockbottom

Where do I go from here?

Oh but darling, there is hope

Even at the end of the dark tunnel

Watch out for the tiny flickering light within you

As it grows to an inextinguishable flame

You are invincible

But there is no one to tell you that but yourself

Self-realization is a mighty thing

Personal growth emerges out of struggle

It is uplifting yet an arduous task

Love yourself

I do, I have learned to love myself
