A wise, gifted leader, who never rests

He stirred people’s minds, and led peaceful protests

Cares about equality and those who are poor

Feels he did a lot, but could do more

Needs to know that we will help and believe in what he did

Gives equality and freedom to every adult and kid

Fears that the enslaved and poor will not be helped out

And Wants people to follow the equality route

Contributed to everyone and everything,

his name, you know it, is Dr. Martin Luther King
