E Pluribus Unum

It is nothing new.

The claim of a country united has never grazed our states.

The words of judgment and racism have only gotten louder.

The grass has never been green.

It is nothing new.

Quiet voices stay quiet.

The people are chained to the normality of day.

The bystanders advert their gaze and continue their day.

The news speaks of problems from afar, as if everything here is okay.

Quiet voices stay quiet.

There is hope.

We have had enough.

We are the next generation who can see through the fog.

We have each other for support and will not stop.

There is hope.

E Pluribus Unum

Unity of the new warriors begins now.

Unity of hands so scarred that they refuse to bleed anymore.

Unity of eyes too dry because of the many tears that have fallen.

E Pluribus Unum!
