Embodiment

Dear love,

Let’s create friction. Not by the touch of our yearning bodies but by the touch of our complex minds. The way my eyes move towards yours is more abstract than what you only perceive. The more I stare into yours, I can see more past that tough exterior and clearly into that soft, empathetic heart. Your soul may seem utterly aggressive but all in all, it thrives to please me. It wants to caress my heart and uncover my true smile underneath this facade and as do I for you. Allow me to embody the affection I have to offer into your core. Your touch seems so subtle but when you shelter your mind it’s astonishing. Your emotions and sense become one with each other to produce deep-seated words that roll off your tongue so effortlessly. You’ve reached me. Show me your universe. The universe that is parallel to the one you expose to everyone else. Side by side; hand in hand we are an absolute entity. Nevertheless, I feel like I’ve dug myself into what seems like an endless abyss. My heart throbbing in torment that another soul has caused. I never thought the pain would remain and sometimes it turns into words that strike you like a bullet with no common sense. I’m falling and my chest is crawling in agony. Descending deeper and deeper into this bottomless pit. I reached out my hand before hoping for someone to catch me. Too scared to do it again, you reached out and grabbed me. Reassured. I am filled with everlasting bliss once more.

Forever yours,

the one adored
