Enough
A double sided postcard:
The first side is a perfect picture,
the only markings on it are the fingerprints that
dirty its glossy coat.
The second is a smudged word
or words.
The fingertips that touched it are covered with ink-
receiving the imperfect gifts it has to offer.
The card has been smeared and prepared
for the ultimate destination.
A school full of postcards
chosen for good.
Their identities seeming flawless enough
for four years.
