Do you see what I see?
When is ee this reflection looking back at me.
I see a soul yourning for equality cause in reality, I'm more than who you thought I'd be.
See my ancesters paved the way so I could lead.
Lead the next generation to a brighter destination.
Who are you to deny me of whats's rightfully mine?

Though many lives were taken,dormant dreams were awaken taking all evil and using it as great motivation.
Together we marched side by side unarmed showing pride to all human kind.
Not letting laws determine our fate, we choose the road less traveled by with institutions and colleges we choose to create.
Slowly but surely regaining our freedom we once had
Thank god we can finally say "Free at last, Free at last, Thank God Almighty I'm free At last"
