Falling

Location

It’s this time of year that makes me wish you were here.

It’s hard to enjoy the falling leaves,

When all I have is this burden to heave,

So the next time you see me I want you to remember,

You’ll be the only thing on my mind till December,

You’re the reason that I hate this season,

And I know these words sound too cliché, but maybe it'll make everything okay,

Just to survive the chill in the autumn air, and pretending like I never cared.

I hope you know that I never liked the snow, but I’d beg for a flake for my heart's sake.

And every year gets worse, and i swear to god it's a curse,

So the next time you see me I want you to remember,

You’ll be the only thing on my mind till December

You’re the reason I hate this season.
