Feelings unmasked

I miss your lips that made me fly

But now I'm all alone

With no home to call my own

Crowded room but all I see is you

Heartache,

Hurts so much it makes me cry

Alone,

Since you've been gone my world's a blur

Selfish,

What you called me when you left

Memories,

Are all I have to cherish now

Time flies, and I realize

You weren't the person you made out to be

I can't forget you

But I can forgive you

There's a bigger picture to all of this...

You didn't want me to but I did

Innocence,

What I see when I look at her

Anger,

What I saw when I looked at you

Years past.

You change, I change, she grows

And so does my love for her

And now she sits,

like I did,

So many years ago,

Waiting.
