Feminism is dead.

Location

I weep for every woman that is beaten for not having dinner ready for her husband when he comes home.
I weep for every girl that is sold into sex trade,
Forced to give their bodies away.
I weep for every woman
without choice.
I weep for every girl
without a voice.
I weep because I cannot save them
and
my efforts are
so
small.

Fifty-one percent
of the world’s population.
Fifty-one percent
that could change it all.
Fifty-one percent
and we are still the smallest ones of all.

You say feminism is dead,
I say we have only begun to fight
the misogyny,
the patriarchy.
Feminism is not over until
each and every woman and girl is free.
