Back in mid 1900's blacks had no rights.
They were hung, beaten, arrested and even injured with dog bites.

All they wanted was peace and justice,
Holding their hands marching with singing practice.

But in their gathering praising for love of freedom,
For one born leader stood tall with wisdom.

It was he, Martin Luther King,
With a dream of I have a speech and let freedom ring.

Jim Crow Laws passed ending segregation
Then world as whole built integregation.

Blessed history it is all over now,
All races can vote and schools will allow.

I am proud of our nation and kingdom,
That we have given each individual their freedom.
