Fishbowl Perspective

I feel it spreading,
The crack.
It started small.
A tiny scratch.
With every hit,
It spread again.
I scream as I feel the water leak.
Soundless words I cannot speak.
But you don't give up,
You don't relent.
With one large hit,
My will is spent.
You broke right through my glass facade.
I could not believe that god,
Would answer me for what I prayed.
But as my sight began to fade,
I set aside my ghastly rage,
At least you freed me from my cage.
