FlashBack

Brazil,

place where I have everything I want, not materialistic things

That I feel comfortable, Where I was born.

A place where I feel important

That I don’t need much to be happy.

A place that, when I was younger I never thought I would leave

To go to a place where I consider a different planet.

America

A place where you can have everything you want. Materialist things

Where you get judge by your race, your accent, your root

A Place that people get a bigger joy when they buy a new car

Than when one of your family member gets a baby

Having a 100 dollars to a 700 dollars

But what is the value of the people you are talking to.

Having a 4000 dollars car to a 40000 dollars car

But who's driving with you

Materialistic things will only make your ego feel better

But your heart will miss something

Something that money can't buy

And that is TRUE happiness.

One hand on the wheel while I smoke my cigarette,

thinking about life, wishing I could back

listening to a track that makes me wonder

After thunder comes the light.

And It will be brighter than any other light

Therefore, it makes me keep going.

To get to a place that a never seen before.

The future is the only thing to look forward to

because the past... you can't change

going from making minimum wage at wawa and delivering

to going to business trips

Welcome to the future.

It's closer than you thought.
