Freedom

Location

Freedom

I never knew it was like to have my freedom stripped away

But I now I see it in their eyes that I can't even go to pray

They hold me down in chains so that I will not leave

But they do not that my spirit has already left me

Took me and shipped me to a place of the unknown

And expect me to be happy in a situation they have prolonged

Making me work holding me hostage

But they cannot see that this is not what my life is

Do not get confused sir with the work that I do

Because the only reason I even survive is because I know that my children are with you

Even through the long days, the long nights as such

I strive to succeed for my freedom

Because one day I know I will not be chained up no longer

My soul is calling my soul is praying

When will I leave, this place I am imprisoned in

I say to myself this is not the thing

With all the persecution and all the killings

My freedom is set because I will be willing

To leave this atrocity behind me in the wind

And let my freedom soar like two great wings
