The Froggy Kiss

Wed, 08/30/2017 - 19:46 -- NNM2900

Stories of old,

tales to be told,

yet no one hears the truth.

The frogs know the tale,

yet the humans fail,

to speak of the Froggy Kiss.

A young girl she was,

just above a knee high,

she went around telling the lies.

"A prince he's been turned"

She gleefully fibbed

as all of her friends

jeered at her gib.

Until one day,

the young girl did try,

to turn the toads to men.

She went around kissing,

until she went missing.

And no saw her again.

Now the old grandma toad,

tells the storries of old,

of how she used to be a princess.
