The Gazelle and the Lion.

You.

I saw you and I knew,

I knew that you saw me too.

Not the with our eyes type of seeing,

But the one where our souls do the meeting.

You.

You knew, that I was longing.

Longing like water in the desert, searching.

Searching for a clue,

Not knowing that all I needed was you.

You.

You, saved me and broke the chains.

I was the gazelle running on the plains.

From the lion with cubs to feed,

Asking the universe why me?

You.

You, were always speechless.

Which encouraged me to write more and speak less.

Focus on the strategy and not just the speed.

That is where you and I became we.

We.

Powerful apart but stronger together,

Who would have guessed you were just a book trimmed in leather.

The power of a pen, the power from within,

No longer the gazelle, with you I am the lion.
