The girl in the mirror

Hi, hello and goodbye

It’s what i tell her everyday

She comes out once in awhile

She comes out when she cans

I study every angle of her face

Looking for a sign in them

To tell me her fears

And why she’s scared

Her eyes as innocent as the sun

Her smile brave but afraid

She speaks her mind

But holds back

I think she fears me after all

I saw her twice today

Asked her to lend me a hand

She pulled me inside the mirror

I just couldn’t escape

I felt warm and instantly safe

She showed me her memories

Show me why she was scared

She said i had to be brave

That i couldn’t hide away

She whisper to me bringing me back to earth

A second had passed by since i had left

The world continue without me

But this time i was gonna make a change

I know i scare her everyday
