This Glass Home "Love"

"LOVE"

A four-lettered house

Exquisite design

Transparent innocence building

Four walls

Of Trust, Communication

Compassion, Respect

A foundation of stone

Honesty

Placed upon

Beating hearts

Precious blood

Our veins flood

Inadequate to most

Stands an open door

Alone sits you

Awaiting the first visitor

A face, blank of canvas

The door stands open

Though two now sit

Smiles aglow

Hearts metaphorically aligned

Open doors to shattered glass

One hand reaches in

Alone you sit again

One webbing crack in your wall of

Trust

Another enters

The door shuts

Smiles grow wide

Hand-in-hand

But no word is uttered

Not a breath to

Disturb

Perfection molded in Heaven

Open and shut

Slamming cracks into every wall

Down collapses Respect

Away falls Communication

Sediments of Confusion

Settle in the debris

Eyes held forward

Damp with forgotten tears

A faded form on a shattered heart

Shards of glass piercing

Mind descending to oblivion

A hand reaches forward

Paths of red and blue

Following to a new house

Glass wounded with cracks

Door grasping to a single hinge

Two enter

Trust forms

Cementing cracks

Compassion grows

Communication flows

Freely finding laughter

A foundation of Honesty

Smoothed over

And, finally,

You smile and Both pull the door

Shut

A vow to protect

This glass Home

Named

"LOVE"
