GOLEN AUTUMN LEAVES

GOLDEN AUTUMN LEAVES

Golden leaves fall from the sad looking trees

Where those hurtful memories come

Through the sun rays,

Where love was once warm

I remember the green grass

Where we once played on

Singing in love,

Oh, but now all that beauty is fading

Like autumn leaves that fall

And get swept away by the wind,

I remember how I taken in my breath

While you gave me your long speech

About your whys and all your lies,

That left me sighing in deep silence

Oh, how my tears field my eyes

When I kept hearing more lies,

I just watch those golden tan leaves fall

Upon the ground where love was once found,

I looked up at that old ancient tree

That lost all its leaves,

I felt so cold trying to stand so bold

While I was her all alone,

Just looking back at what was and what isn’t,

The shades of those sad golden swaying leaves

Taken me down in a deep memory,

Where I once felt loved

But left me all in the pain of autumn.
