He Asked Me Who I Was

He asked me who I was.

So I told Him:

"I don't know who I am...

All I know is that I'm a sinner.

I am the scum of the earth.

I've messed up too many times to count.

I'm broken.

Useless.

Alone..."

And He looked at me and said:

"You're right-- You don't know who you are.

You are redeemed.

You are so precious to Me.

I have forgiven and forgotten all of your mistakes.

I am fixing you.

I am using you for My great plans.

I am with you.

I AM.

And you are Mine."
