Bad habits never seem to leave, you try to stop, but your plans don’t just work, it’s a race agaist time your life now a clock, he understands

Family clouded by calamity faced with uncertain eventualities reducing your level of spirituality he understands

You exhausted, feeling a full chunk of your life spans been wasted, leaving your spiritual thirst dehydrated he understands

You feel down, hearts casted to the ground, self-rejected yes rejected by your own self, loved ejected hate injected, he understands

Life’s disappointment knocks you over and so u say this is it, I guess it’s all over and suddenly your world becomes colder, he understands

You’re not too pretty, good heavens your too skinny they exclaim anytime they see you,

So you pick up an eating disorder, insecurity chocks up as you move from one guy to another he understands

You gat not jays on your feet weather so cold but u on the hot spot gat you feeling the heat

Soon after you willed a gun with one bullet try to rub a store thirsting for more he understands

Dreams shattered like broken windows the devil suddenly becomes your hero go from something zero you gradually regress from the war front to the mid row he understands

And so he says come, let us reason, putting aside every difference and feeling with the intent to receiving eternal healing.

He says come set your gaze on me and me alone and testify to what it feels like to be the messiah’s very own

He says come did you not know that when I died for you all these your desire were made yours?

He says come open the eyes of your inner man and see the extent to which my banner over you which is love encompasses all

He says come; do not withdraw for I became poor so that you will become rich

I was beaten and for every stripe received health

And so he says come, come to me all ye who heavily burned with labour and I will give you rest
