Him

Thu, 08/10/2017 - 05:21 -- eggink

He is a body of water I never tiptoe around

I plunge headfirst arms firmly at my sides

The depths are intoxicating, I breathe all the same

You drowned in him, but I discovered aqueous life

Silence. He welcomes my thoughts

Showering in bliss, bloodstream crashing against my skin

I feel alive in never ending foot after foot of serenity, happiness

With the strength of an ocean he caresses me like a wave upon a shore

His kiss is rain pouring across window glass

A crystal clear persona, no lies, no hurricanes of deception

Only a flood of rebirth of our souls intertwined to the earth’s core

This is love.
