I'm white

I've known nothing but white.

But the day in history came to learn about our rights.

Our rights as people, people of this United States.

Except not that long ago a large amount of people were not allowed the same rights.

They fought, and man did they fight hard. Just to have what my kind of people were allowed.

I was inspired by these people who wanted equality, for if it wasn't for them would the United States have prosperity?

It started with a dream long ago before I was born, a dream of hope, a dream of the future that makes me who i am. Regardless of the color of my skin.

History was made, and made all other causes easier to begin.
